How to Connect Sprint PCS to Mobile Sync

Synchronize your Sprint PCS contacts with Mobile Sync.

With Sprint's Mobile Sync system, you can synchronize your contacts between your Sprint PCS phone and Sprint's website. Once activated, you can log on to the Sprint website to add, edit and remove contacts from the online database and your phone. Once you edit a contact online, your phone is automatically updated with that information.

Instructions

1. Click "Menu," "Settings" and select "Contacts."

2. Click "Mobile Sync," "Activate" and select "Yes" to confirm Mobile Sync activation.

3. Browse to the Sprint website (see Resources). Click "Sign in" and enter your user name and password.

4. Select "My Online Tools" and click "Open Sprint Mobile Sync."

5. Add a contact to your address book by clicking "Add contact." Enter the name, phone number and additional information for your contact. Click "Save."

6. Select the contacts you would like to sync with your phone. The phone can hold up to 600 contacts, while the online system can hold up to 5,000 contacts.

7. Click the "Status" header to sort the contacts. Select the box next to selected contacts and click "Set On Phone." The selected contacts will automatically be synchronized with your phone.
