1
Cut a 15-inch to 20-inch length of 1/4-inch wide ribbon to coordinate with your ivy wreath. Tie the ribbon around the top of the foam wreath frame to make a hanger for your wreath. Make sure that a loop of ribbon extends at least 5 inches away from the outside edge of the wreath frame.

2
Heat the glue gun and insert one of the hot glue sticks. Glue floral moss to the front, back, inside and outside edge of the foam wreath. Floral moss is available in several different colors; select one that coordinates with your choice of ivy garland. A thin layer of floral moss camouflages the foam and provides a natural background for your large ivy wreath.

3
Attach one end of one of the silk ivy garlands to the back of the wreath foam with a floral U pin. The pin will slide easily into the foam wreath frame.

4
Wrap the silk ivy garland around the wreath frame in a tight spiral; wrap the ivy loosely if you prefer that more moss is visible. Insert a floral U pin around the ivy garland stem to secure each wrap. The U pins should not be visible, so place them on the backside of the wreath frame.
-
5
Wrap as many ivy garlands as it takes to cover the large wreath frame. End and begin new garland strands on the backside of the wreath. You can cut the garland as needed with wire cutters.
