Purchase a can of R/C car motor spray from the Internet or a hobby shop.

Remove your DC motor from your R/C model or whatever device the motor is used in.

Get your can of cleaning spray out and read the directions on the can. Spray the motor and the brushes according to the directions, and let the motor dry off.

Replace the motor in your R/C model or electrical device, and plug in the positive and negative motor leads as they were before you removed the motor. Turn on the device or model and run it to test it out. It should now be working optimally.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure to place some newspapers or disposable cloth under your work area. The motor cleaning spray shouldn't come in contact with carpet, a table top or other surfaces as it will leave a stain.
Use the motor cleaning spray in a well ventilated area, as the fumes may be toxic. Also, use the spray away from open flame, as it is flammable.
