How to Wear the Combat Action Badge Army
The Combat Action Badge, created in 2005, is awarded to a soldier who has faced an enemy in combat. Soldiers qualify for the badge by engaging an enemy in battle or being engaged by an enemy. The Army will award the badge to soldiers for accomplishments dating back to 2001. A soldier wears the badge as part of an officer's formal uniform. A smaller version is also available that a soldier can wear on the mess uniform. Does this Spark an idea?

The CAB isn't only for officers and it's not for the "mess" uniform. It's for the ACU on both enlisted and officers, and both dress uniforms as well. No reference to AR 670-1, where the RIGHT info is. It's worn differently on the dress uniform & the ACU, AND it's a different veneer on each. Why do people write crap they have NO IDEA ABOUT and don't even research properly? THis is why eHow sucks.
