Sensors on the cameras detect game activity.

Bushnell digital trail cameras are used to capture still images and video of game and wildlife. Sensors on the cameras detect game activity, and the camera records that activity to an SD (Secure Digital) memory card. Bushnell trail cameras include a factory-determined pass code function that can be changed to a custom code. Problems with the codes can include the camera not accepting the default code, or your custom code.

Instructions

    • 1

Reset the camera by removing and then inserting the batteries into the camera. Then turn the power on with the power switch. The camera will reset itself and the display will show four dashes on the screen. Momentarily the dashes will turn to "HHHH."

    • 2

Enter the factory set code of "0000." An incorrect pass code will be indicated with text "ERRO." Try step 1 again if the pass code won't work. Try to guess at a code you might already have set.

Identify the serial number of the device if you can't get the camera to accept the code or you have forgotten your custom code. Then call Bushnell Customer Service (see Resources) and press "Option 2" on the main menu. The operator will ask you to supply the serial number, and will then facilitate the password recovery. In some cases the camera will need to be sent to a repair center.
