How to Get a Verizon Feedback Loop

A feedback loop is an additional service Verizon provides you to monitor customers who reject your emails. This service is limited to companies sending bulk emails. Feedback loops help reduce spam and complaints from consumers. This also is beneficial because it helps you target only those customers interested in your business and eliminates those who display no interest. Verizon sends rejected emails to your domain email which you create with a Verizon representative.

Instructions

    • 1

Contact the Verizon Small Business Center at 888-338-8037 and request a feedback loop. Provide the account number, full name and street address that appear on your bill.

    • 2

Provide the representative your IP address. You can find your IP address at WhatsMyIP.org, or your representative can find out through the Internet Service Provider department.

    • 3

Create accounts on your domain. You will receive an account name similar to abuse@ or postmaster@. This is where your rejected emails end up. Your representative will provide you with a password for accessing this account.

    • 4

Complete the application process. You must provide additional information such as your IP range, your domains, your network's name, email and phone number, and the email to which Verizon will send the feedback loops.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may have to complete the application online or through the telephone.

  • Locate your IP range at IPAddressLocation.org.
