How to Make Your Own Labyrinth Pavers
Labyrinth paving stones are known for their distinct mosaic designs displaying mazes of tiles wrapping across the top of the concrete. This design is relatively simple to achieve, because labyrinth patterns can be simple or elaborate, depending on your skill. Forget the mess of paving kits. Purchasing already-made paving stones gives you the freedom to draw your labyrinth pattern onto the stone's surface, resulting in a more professional looking product. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Create a pattern for your labyrinth paving stone. To create the maze shape and definition, plan on using only two contrasting colors for the maze design. In the design, use colored pencils to mark which colors you plan to place where. If you need inspiration or ideas, use visual references as guidelines.

2
Mix and prepare the thinset according to the manufacturer's instructions on the package. This special grout is designed specifically to adhere tiles to a concrete surface.

-
3
Spread 1/8 inch of thinset onto the surface of the paving stone using a putty knife, making sure the thinset is even.
-
4
Place the mosaic tiles into the layer of thinset, following the pattern you designed. When you are decorating the paver, leave 1/8 inch or less between the mosaic tiles. Allow the thinset to dry for 24 hours.
-
5
Spread a thin layer of grout over the paver and mosaic tiles using the putty knife. Press the tile grout in between the mosaic tiles with the putty knife.
