How to Stop a Receipt Logo From Printing to a TM-T88

If you have a Canon TM-T88 receipt printer, then you may find that it is printing a logo when it prints out receipts. In the print setup utility that controls your receipt printing, there will be a script designating how to print each receipt. This is designated in a file entitled the "Transaction Report Editor." Once you have located the logo in this file, you can delete the line and then proceed printing without the logo in place.

      Open the Canon TM-T88 software from your Start menu. Click "File > Editors > Transaction Report Editor."

      Select your receipt from the list on the left.

      Locate your logo on the right. This will often be named "Logo" or something similar in the "Field Name/text." Often the logo will at either the very top or bottom of the receipt.

      Select the logo line. Click "Delete."

      Click "Close" and click "OK" if prompted to save.
