- Drill
- 2-by-4-inch lumber
- Concrete anchors

Inspect the cinder block wall to determine where exactly the frame will go and mark it with a chalk line. Snap the chalk line around the entire area where the frame will be.

Measure the size of the frame on 2-by-4 lumber and mark where you need to cut the pieces. Slide the lumber into a miter saw and line up the mark with the blade. Turn on the saw and pull down on the lever to cut the lumber directly on the mark.

Line the first piece of the frame up on the cinder block wall at the chalk line. Verify that it has been cut correctly and pre-drill a hole through the lumber and into the concrete with a drill and masonry bit. Push hard on the drill at the exact spot where the anchor will go and continue until a hole has gone through and into the block.

Move a foot down the frame to the next spot and drill a hole in the same manner. Continue around the entire area of the frame, drilling a hole every foot. Move on to the next piece of the frame and repeat the process until all of the holes have been drilled.

Insert concrete screws into each of the pre-drilled holes to hold the frame in place. Inspect the frame to make sure there are no screw heads sticking up.
