How to Eat Tumeric
Tumeric is bright yellow spice that is used in Indian cooking. Tumeric has many naturally beneficial qualities that make the spice especially unique. The Curacuma longa plant is where tumeric derives from which as a tough brown skin. Due to its rich yellow color, it not is used for food but also for textile dyeing. Tumeric is a potent anti-inflammatory agent. It helps with conditions such as atherosclerosis, infections and bacteria. Other benefits include protection against cancer due to it's antioxidant properties. Tumeric has even been linked to protective properties against Alzheimer disease. Things You'll Need
- Olive oil
- 3 large carrots
- 1 onions
- 1 heads of broccoli
- Tumeric powder
- I Bunch of spinach
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 cup peas
- Chopping board
- Knife
- Frying wok

Stir Fry Vegetables With Tumeric

Chop carrots, broccoli and onion into small piece. Next chop finely chop garlic and spinach. You can decide what vegetables to add in your the stir fly you desire. Some people who don't like onions can substitute for bell pepper.

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in frying wok. If your stove has numbers, heat at medium temperature or at 4-5 level. Let the oil heat slowly, olive oil burns quickly. Test oil by placing a piece of onion in the wok and see if it fries. If the onion does not fry, then wait 2-3 minutes before adding all the vegetables in the wok.

Add onions first and mix with oil. Next add the garlic. The garlic will turn a light brown. Next then add the broccoli, peas, spinach and carrots. Mix and stir well. Add 2 tablespoons of tumeric to the vegetables. Mix the tumeric well and evenly with frying vegetables.

Add salt to taste. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and taste. If salt is not enough then add more. Be sure to add salt last. If person has hypertension you can substitute lemon juice for the salt.
