Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of cardstock down into a square measuring 5 inches by 5 inches. Use green, white or red cardstock for traditional Christmas colors or select a color that matches your décor.

    • 2

Create a hole in the center of the cardstock with a circle paper punch. Make the hole as even as possible.

    • 3

Tape a picture of your baby to the back of the cardstock so that the face shows through the circle. Cut off any of the picture that hangs over the edges of the cardstock. If you do not want to cut up a cherished photo, you can make a copy of the picture instead.

    • 4

Cut a square measuring 3 inches by 3 inches from a different color of cardstock. Create a circle in the center of this cardstock with a circle paper punch.

    • 5

Center the circle over the baby picture. Glue the square frame over the picture with a glue stick.

    • 6

Punch two small holes evenly spaced apart at the top of the cardstock. Thread a thin piece of ribbon through the holes and tie it into a knot to secure it in place.

    • 7

Write the baby's name under the picture with a glitter pen or permanent marker. You can also write your favorite poem or quote under the picture to create a memorable Christmas ornament.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make the ornament last a long time by using acid-free cardstock and laminate the ornament before you thread the ribbon into the holes.
