How To Reinstall Panic Kernel OS
If certain system data in the Mac OS X operating system becomes corrupted, you can experience what is called a kernel panic, which is where the computer freezes and you must hold down the power button to restart. The only way to ensure that kernel panics stop is to completely reinstall the operating system on the Mac. With the archive and install option, you can preserve your personal data and only reinstall the necessary system files.
