Inspect the logos closely. Coach has a copyrighted logo that consists of a very specific "C." Print a copy of the Coach logo from its website (see Resources) and compare it with the logos on your handbag. Also, check the seams. All the "C" logos should be uniform, and none should be cut off at the seam on an authentic Coach bag.

Check the workmanship of the seams. Flaws in small details such as the stitching are usually a dead giveaway for spotting a fake. Any loose strings or uneven seams are signs of a possible fake.
