How to Enable ISCSI Target Snap Server
The Microsoft Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) Software Target server can be installed on your computer in order to manage and create virtual disks for storage. You can also backup and install data using the snapshot features of the iSCSI Software Target server. When you are logged into your computer with administrator privileges then you can easily install iSCSI server by opening the iscsitarget.msi file or running an installation command.

Insert the Microsoft iSCSI Software Target installation disc into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.

Double-click the "My Computer" icon from your computer and then double-click on your CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the "iscsitarget.msi" file for the iSCSI Target Snap and the application will automatically install on your computer.

Click the "Start" button from your desktop and then click the "Run" option if you want to install the iSCSI Target Snap server as a command.

Enter "msiexec /i iscsitarget.msi <options> ALLUSERS=1 [PROPERTY=PropertyValue]" into the "Open" box and then click the "OK" button. The iSCSI Target Snap server will then automatically install.
