How to Tune the Remington 700
The Remington model 700 is a high-end, bolt-action rifle designed for precision shooting. The rifle feature a smooth action that securely chambers the cartridge until you are ready to fire. A great advantage of the Remington model 700 is that these rifles feature the X-Mark Pro trigger. A set-screw located on the trigger's inside surface allows for fine tuning and pressure-adjustment.

Check to make sure that your rifle is unloaded. Find the trigger-adjustment hex screw on the trigger. Place the provided hex key into the screw.

Turn the screw clockwise to decrease the trigger pull. Turn the screw counterclockwise to increase trigger pull.

Remove the hex key after you have made an adjustment. Test your rifle's trigger pull by dry firing it. Make any additional necessary adjustments.
