How to Reinstall a Giga Pocket

The Giga Pocket is a type of TV tuner card designed by Sony. When connected to your motherboard, it lets you watch television on your computer via your operating system. If you want to reinstall your Giga Pocket, you don't actually have to remove the device from your computer and put it back in. You can just reinstall the software that operates the Giga Pocket, known as a driver.

      Right-click the icon for your Giga Pocket TV tuner card. Click "Uninstall" to remove the driver for your Giga Pocket from your computer. Windows will no longer recognize the device, and the listing for the device will disappear from the Device Manager window.

    Install Giga Pocket Driver

      Place your Giga Pocket driver CD-ROM into your computer. This CD-ROM came with your TV tuner card, and it's the CD-ROM that you used to install the device the first time.

      Click "Computer." Double-click the Giga Pocket CD-ROM icon to load the installation utility.
