How to Degrease a Truck
Degreasing a truck is a simple process that can be done during a normal car washing session. Degreasers -- a type of soap that removes oils from vehicles -- are easy to find and relatively cheap. They can be found in most pharmacies, as well as specialty stores and can be used for the exterior of your truck, as well as the tires. Depending on the brand, you may even be able to wash some parts of the engine with degreaser, although you should make sure your brand is one that can be used on the engine.

1
Prepare a bucket full of water and a sponge, wash cloth or rag. Pour an appropriate amount of degreaser into the bucket (it should say on the bottle how much is needed) -- or squirt some onto your sponge, then dip it into the water.

2
Wash the car going in a circular motion. Pay close attention to excessively dirty areas, and use more force to scrub off dirt and oils. You will probably need to stand in the bed of the truck to get the top of the cab, the back window and the bed of the truck clean. Do the wheel rims last.

Rinse your truck off with a water hose. Check the greasiest areas to see if the grease has been washed away. Wash the areas with degreaser that need it. Rinse and check again. Do this until all areas are free of grease.

4
Dry the truck completely, starting from the top of the cab.
