How to Install ATI BIOS
The BIOS (Basic Input Output System) is a very basic program that comes with the motherboard of your computer. Installing a BIOS program is a little more complex than simply updating the BIOS using an installer program. In order to install a BIOS program, you will need to create a boot disk, which is a floppy disk with a program that automatically launches when the disk is inserted into a computer.
Things You'll Need
- Windows XP or earlier OS

Run the executable file (EXE) from the bootdisk download. This automatically makes the floppy drive bootable. Copy and paste the ATI BIOS program, which will be a BIN file, onto the floppy drive.

Tips & Warnings
If your motherboard is not compatible with an ATI BIOS program, the installation process will fail and you risk destroying your motherboard. Consult the motherboard manual or any other official reference concerning your motherboard's specifications to make sure the BIOS you plan to install is compatible with the motherboard.
