Things You'll Need
- Soft-bristled toothbrush
- Silver polishing cream
- Soft cloths
- Mild dish detergent

Rinse the silver holloware under warm running water. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove dirt and dust from any crevices or intricate designs. Don't use strong pressure, as it can scratch the surface.

Apply silver polishing cream to a soft cloth. Use enough to thoroughly coat the item. Wipe the silver holloware with the cloth to apply the cream. Use small, circular motions to remove tarnish and restore color and shine. Clean the inside of pots or bowls, too. Turn the cloth or use a new one as tarnish accumulates on it.

Rinse the silver holloware under warm running water to remove any polish residue.

Fill a sink with warm water and add 1 tsp. mild dish detergent. Place the holloware into the sink.

Wash the items with a sponge to remove all of the polishing cream, and rinse them completely.
