How to Decorate Rooms in Red, Black & White
If you want a room to have a stunning dimensional personality, work with red accented with black and white. Knowing how much red and black to work with depends on the design of the space and the accents of these colors that you want to work in the room. In smaller spaces, red and black do not take away from the illusion of space in the room if they are used sparingly as trims and accents to a white backdrop. Paint the focal-point wall in the room with red paint.

Paint geometric or abstract shapes in red on the wall opposite the solid red one. This addition of red on the opposite wall balances the red color in the room.
