-
Step 1
Roll forward. Position your front foot up on the nose with the ball of your foot in the middle of the nose.
-
Step 2
Place your back foot in the middle of the board between the front and back bolts. The farther your foot is toward the front, the higher you will be able to pop, but don't get too pigeon-toed (that gets ugly). Be comfortable.
-
Step 3
Push down with your front leg and foot as hard and fast as you can to get maximum pop. After the nose snaps down, jump up off your front foot as you suck the board up with your back foot by dragging it back toward the tail.
-
Step 4
Let the front of the board and your front foot rise to the same level as your back foot so the board levels out. Your knees should be pretty sucked up at the height of your nollie - it's a compression trick.
-
Step 5
Come on back down now.

on 8/8/2006 When doing a nollie, start with the board still, then start it going slow, pick up the speed gradually until you can do as easy as an ollie.

on 8/8/2006 When you get ready to ollie, have your front foot near the right of your board and have your back foot like a regular ollie. When you pop up, move your front foot in the way you want it to go and pick your feet up so you can catch the landing.

on 1/18/2006 1. Get comfortable on the board.
2. Start riding around, and ollie a few times.
3. Now, if you think you can do this while riding, you can go ahead on. Do this while you are riding, but if you rather do this still and then make your way up to kick flip while riding, you can also do that.
4. Put your feet on the board like a 'V'. Your front foot tilted at least 45 degrees to the left and your back foot at least 45 degrees to the right. Once you have this stance, try standing in balance. It will be hard to at first.
5. Try to ollie with you back foot 45 degrees to the right. If you get a nice pop, try the sixth step.
6. Have your back foot 45 degrees to the right again, and your front foot 45 degrees to the left. Now get the good pop you have been practicing. With your front foot (the heel of it), kick it right on the side straight down. The kickflip is basically the pop you get.
7. Try to kick it with your heel on the side of the board. The further away from the side you are, the worse rotation you get. If you get a nice pop you have a lot of time to kick the side with your heel, but try to do that step as fast as you can.
8. Remember that when you kick it straight down, you have your foot enough to the side of the board that you won't kick the board down, but flip the board.
9. Don't think you will get this the first time. Unless you're a pro.

on 11/22/2005 I suggest you read this 10 times. Memorize the instructions.
First, position your left foot in the middle of your deck and your right foot on the tail. Then, push down on the tail (like doing an ollie) and slide your left foot to the first set of bolts closest to you. Push down right below the set of bolts closest to your left foot, and make sure you lift your right foot off the tail. Let the board spin, but don't let your left foot touch the ground. Let your left foot whip back where you first positioned it in the first place. Let your right foot land on the bolts, not on the tail, because you'll slide your board and trip.
