You can gift a graduate a snow globe to remember the big event.

Graduation is an event to be celebrated. One way to honor the graduate is to give her a gift that will symbolize the achievement. For example, you can give her a snow globe featuring a figure in a cap and gown, which she can keep and display to remember the proud moment. You can make a customized graduation snow globe using basic materials that you can find around the house or at a craft store.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, and plug it into an electrical outlet for 10-minutes to heat up.

    • 2

Squeeze a dollop of hot glue onto the inside of a mason jar lid.

    • 3

Press a graduation-themed figure onto the hot glue, such as a person in a cap and gown. Allow the glue to cool and harden. Choose a figure that is made of resin or plastic so that it will not rust or deteriorate in the water.

    • 4

Fill the mason jar three-fourths of the way full of water.

    • 5

Stir in 3 tablespoons of glycerin. Mix well.

    • 6

Add in 2 teaspoons of clear glitter, and a few graduation cap sequins, which can be found at a craft store.

    • 7

Squeeze a line of hot glue around the circumference of the lip of the jar.

    • 8

Screw the lid back onto the mason jar, inserting the graduation figure into the water. Allow the hot glue to cool and harden.
