How to Make a Survey on Your Webpage
Surveys are a very popular method of gathering information on the internet. In the past web designers had to program the code for their surveys by hand. Today there are many online services that offer surveys that can be created for free and added to your web page. These services are fast, user-friendly and require no knowledge of advanced programming.

1
Select a survey generator service that you want to use. There are many available to choose from on the Internet. Your decision should be based on which service comes closest to meeting your personal needs. Things to consider are the number of questions that you can ask, how the service delivers survey results to you and the visual styles available (you don't want a style that completely clashes with the rest of your web page).

2
Sign up with the service that you select. Most of them require little more than a username, password and email address.
-
3
Create your survey using the interface on the service's website. You should give each survey you create a unique title to help you to identify it. Some services give you the option to decide how questions can be answered (one answer per question, multiple answers, etc.). Others offer features such as password protection, image enhancement and automatic emails when someone completes the survey.
-
4
Save your survey once it is complete.
-
5
Copy the HTML code for the survey, which the site will usually offer in formats such as static (the survey just sits on your page) or pop-up (the visitor clicks a link that opens the survey in a pop-up window). Some sites give you the code immediately after saving the survey, others require you to click a button labeled "Get Code" or some other variation.
-
6
Paste the code into the HTML of your web page.
