How to Modify Rims
You can modify your vehicle's rims only so much without having them machined. Painting rims is one of the cheapest and fastest modifications that you can do yourself. Buy primer and paint specific to the type of metal that you rims are made of to complete this mod properly. You can buy everything necessary at a hardware store, and the entire process will take about 24 hours.

Hang the rim using hanging clamps. Clean the entire surface of the rims using gasoline. Gas will remove all oil and dirt from the rim.

Allow the gas to completely evaporate from the rims before proceeding. Apply two coats of spray primer to the area of the rims that you want painted. Allow the primer to completely dry before proceeding.

Apply at least three coats of spray paint to the area of the rim that you want painted. Allow the rim to dry overnight.
