How to Attach an Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter to an HD Drive

A USB splitter cable is all you'll need to complete this task.

The Xbox 360 wireless adapter has become a must for the serious online gamer. The adapter synchronizes the Xbox to allow it to transfer music and videos from a PC's media C, and allows you to talk to friends and hook up to Xbox Live. The Xbox 360 HD DVD drive plays high-resolution movies through your Xbox. Hooking both items up through the Xbox is an easy process.

Things You'll Need

• USB splitter cable

Instructions

1. Take the USB cord attached to the wireless adapter and plug it into your USB splitter cable.

2. Attach the HD drive's USB cable to the USB splitter cable.

3. Hook the USB splitter cable up to one of your Xbox's open USB ports. Both items should now run seamlessly.

Tips & Warnings

• If the cord of the splitter cable isn't long enough, it may hang from the Xbox if you have it standing vertically. You may want to prop the splitter up with a book or other object so people don't trip on it when they walk past.
