How to Recharge a Tata Prepaid Mobile Account

Tata is one of India's leading telecom providers, with a product lineup that includes landline, cell phone, calling card and handset services. Tata also has a partnership with Virgin Mobile that lets Tata users purchase and use Virgin phones. When using a prepaid cell phone from Tata, the phone account must be recharged, or renewed, when minutes run low. You can do this in a few steps.

Instructions

1. Visit the website Icharge.com. Icharge.com is the official Tata Teleservices website. This is where users recharge their accounts.

2. Click on the large blue box in the center of the page.

3. Select the "Mobile Recharge" box. Other choices include "walky recharge" and "wireless recharge."

4. Enter your 10-digit phone number. Click "submit."

5. Choose the type of recharge plan you would like to purchase. There are four types of prepaid plans, including "Chatter Box Plan," "Talk Plus," "Talk Zyada," and "Pay per call Plan."

6. Enter your credit card information and hit "submit." Your phone will be automatically recharged.
