How to Make a Hologram Pendent
A hologram is comprised of layers that reflect light differently at various angles to change the appearance of an image. Holographic images are typically made with special computer printing techniques, but can be inexpensively purchased in the form of medallions or stickers. Creating a pendant from a holographic image is an easy way to make a unique, personalized piece of jewelry that will have a changing appearance, depending on the angle at which it is viewed. Things You'll Need
- Holographic image
- Choice of mount (scrabble tile, piece of resin, etc.)
- Jewelry bail
- Leather cord
- Scissors
- Super Glue
- Jewelry clasp
- Needle-nose pliers

Choose a holographic image. These are often found in packs of stickers, or on pogs and other small medallions.

Adhere the image to a base if is not already in medallion form. If it is a sticker or printed image, place it on a backing, such as a scrabble tile or piece of resin plastic that has been cut to the desired shape and size.

Adhere the jewelry bail to the holographic medallion using Super Glue.

Determine the length of cord necessary for the pendant to hang at a desired length.

Cut the cord. If it is long enough to be slipped over a person's head, simply tie the ends to a knot. If not, use needle-nose pliers to clamp jewelry clasps around the ends of the cord so the necklace can easily be taken on and off.
