How to Troubleshoot OmniForm
Omniform is a document creation software program. It allows users to create customized paper forms and print them out. Users also can convert existing paper forms into digital documents by scanning the image into the program. Omniform is a complex piece of software and, as such, can have issues. Most can be addressed by following a few troubleshooting steps.

Upgrade your current computer system to Omniform's software requirements. Many problems arise in Omniform because the computer does not meet all software requirements for the application. Check the Ominiform owner's manual for a list of system requirements. Download and install any additional software that Omniform needs.

Examine your scanner's cable connections. A loose USB cable can prevent Omniform from uploading new image documents. Wiggle each cable connection to the scanner to check its security. Remove and reinsert any loose cables.

Shut down the computer and scanning device. Many Omniform errors can be resolved just by shutting down and restarting your equipment. Turn off the computer and scanner by pressing the "Power" buttons. Turn on the scanner by pressing the "Power" button. Wait for the scanner to fully start up before turning on the computer. This will ensure that the computer recognizes the scanning device from the start.

Check the hard drive for internal disc errors. Open a disc analysis program such as ScanDisk. Perform a complete search of your hard drive. The program will list any disc errors after it completes the search with solutions to fix these problems. Check your software's user guide for specific instructions on performing a hard drive scan.
