How to Remove the Xterra Exhaust Manifold
The exhaust manifold on a Nissan Xterra is mounted to the cylinder head of the engine. The manifold takes the gases created internally in the engine and sends them out through the exhaust system on the truck. You need to remove the manifold if you want to install an aftermarket model that increases horsepower, or if you want to change the cylinder head gasket. In either case, the first step is to remove the exhaust manifold.
