      Enter the numerical value of the amount you want to convert. For example, if you were trying to find out how many centimeters are equivalent to six inches, you would enter "6".

      Press the "Shift" and "8" keys together at the same time on the calculator if you are using an FX-115ES, FX-570ES, or FX-991ES scientific calculator. If you are using a FX-100W, FX-115W, FX-570W, or FX-991W calculator, press the "Shift" and "Conv" keys at the same time. This will prompt you to enter the conversion command code found in your user's guide.

      Enter the appropriate conversion command found in the user's guide or reference card. You can find PDF copies of the user's guides on the Casio website in the "Support" section. Using the example above, if you were trying to convert inches to centimeters, you would enter "01" as the code.

      Press the "=" button to finalize the equation. If you used this method to convert six inches into centimeters, your answer would be 15.24.
