Shop at stores that carry the most selection; mid-market chains such as Express or The Gap tend to offer pants and shirts in a variety of sizes and lengths, such as medium/long or large/short. Big-box chain stores also offer a wide selection of pants and tops for all body types that are quite economical.

2
Purchase flared-leg pants if you have curvier hips. Pants with a slightly flared bottom are always more flattering than skinny tapered legs. Choose pants that hit the top of your shoes, so you can't see any of your ankle, or you may end up looking like Michael Jackson.

3
Choose a shirt one size larger than your size, to guard against shrinking.

Pay attention to your posture. Many tall women slump their shoulders due to feeling self-conscious about their height. This is not only unhealthy, it is also unattractive looking. Add strength training to your exercise routine. This will both improve your posture and tone your body, which will make all your clothes look much better on you.

Buy a bra that flatters your figure. Tall women often also have smaller chests. In order to create better proportions, find a bra that has padding or gel in it that will lift your breasts and give you a little cleavage. Nothing is sexier than a tall woman who actually has some kickin' curves.
