How to Seal a Meal Canister With a Food Saver Unit thumbnail
Don't let your food go bad.

The makers of the FoodSaver Vacuum Sealing System claim their products can save the average consumer up to $2,700 per year, as of 2010. This saving comes from not wasting food and from buying in bulk, something consumers are more likely to do if they can prevent their food from spoiling. FoodSaver canisters and bags are vacuum sealed to keep food fresh. The appliance draws the air from the container to extend the shelf life of its contents. Consumers also prepare meals ahead of time and store them in FoodSaver containers to enjoy later. FoodSaver recommends using canisters for berries, nuts, coffee beans, hard cheeses and more. Does this Spark an idea?
