How to Convert an MD3 to an MD2
An .MD3 file is a type of three-dimensional player model file designed to be used with the video game "Quake III Arena." An .MD2 file is a two-dimensional player model file designed to be used with the video game "Quake 2." If you have an .MD3 file that you want to convert to two dimensions for use with the second "Quake" game, you just have to export the file to the appropriate format using a program called QuArK. QuArK stands for Quake Army Knife, a freeware program that lets you make edits to levels and design files for games like Quake III and other types of first-person shooters.
