Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the water to the faucet by shutting the valves under the sink.

    • 2

Remove the handle to the faucet by unscrewing the screw in the base of the handle with an Allen wrench and pulling it off.

    • 3

Loosen the adjusting ring (a plastic washer on top of the faucet head) by turning it left with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Loosen the dome cap (chrome, dome shaped cover on top of the faucet; it's sometimes called an escutcheon) with a pair of channel pliers and remove it.

    • 4

Take out the ball valve and stem, then pull the spout up and off the base of the faucet. Remove the two O-rings on the base of the faucet and replace them with new ones.

    • 5

Unscrew the round tip of the faucet spout by hand and remove the aerator inside. Replace this with a new aerator and screw the cap back on the faucet.

    • 6

Reassemble the faucet by sliding the spout back on and replacing each part in the reverse order as removed. Tighten all screws to complete the reassembly.
