Decide what sort of vehicle you need to get for your fleet. If you need small, fuel efficient sedans, large SUVs or work trucks, you should specify that. Come up with all of the features a vehicle should have that you need for your fleet, such as GPS capability or minimum miles per gallon.

Contact either a car dealer or a lease agent. Ask the dealer if any vehicles that meet your requirements are on the lot or if the dealer knows where vehicles that you need are available. If you're leasing rather than buying, find a lease agent to hunt down used vehicles for you.

Select the used vehicles that meet your needs. It's important that you ascertain the vehicle history, check the Carfax report and find out whether or not there's an extended service plan or warranty on the vehicle. Once you're satisfied that you want the vehicle and that it's a good investment, fill out all the necessary paperwork, pay all of the associated fees and register the vehicle as part of your fleet.
