How Do I Add Subnets in SonicWALL 2040?
SonicWALL 2040 network security appliances function as routers and firewalls. They include additional security features, including deep packet inspection to block malicious traffic, such as viruses, spyware and intrusions. SonicWALL 2040 devices are designed for large networks and have advanced features, such as user-customizable subnetting. Subnets are a way to divide and section off parts of a local network. Computers on different subnets can't communicate with each other, even if they're on the same physical network; they can communicate only with the Internet.
