How to Use Boson Network Simulator Software
Boson is a Cisco lab simulation program. It has lessons and hands-on labs to give Cisco students the opportunity to learn about the Cisco router and switch devices, without spending hundreds of dollars to learn how to use such devices. The most current version is 8.0, and it lets you work with 42 routers, 6 switches, and an IP phone. The PCs in the simulator include a TFTP server, a AAA server, a traffic generator, a VPN client, and a workstation. This program gives students the experience to prepare for the Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exam.
