Instructions

    • 1

Vacuum the rug thoroughly. If there is any visible debris that did not get removed by the vacuum, manually pick it off of the rug.

    • 2

Apply a wool carpet stain remover to a moist rag and spot clean any visible spots or stains. Place a towel under the rug during spot cleaning to catch the stain particles and the residual detergent.

    • 3

Move the rug to your pre-cleaned driveway and lay it flat.

    • 4

Soak the rug with water using a garden hose.

    • 5

Fill a bucket with water and the manufacturer's recommended amount of wool-safe detergent.

    • 6

Pour the mixture onto the rug and agitate the rug with a squeegee.

    • 7

Rinse the suds out of the rug with a pressure sprayer nozzle on the hose.

    • 8

Cover the rug in towels and roll it upon itself to remove the extra water.

    • 9

Lay the rug out flat in a warm place to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, as it will bleach the rug.
