Microsoft includes functions in Windows that help to control basic video driver settings, but the PC may offer advanced display capabilities beyond the operating system. Users can quickly and effortlessly change the resolution, brightness, color and orientation from the "Display" menu. Video card manufacturers, however, can include many more value-added functions and features in the device. Some of the those options include 3-D, television and rotational capabilities. You can change the video-card controlling application in Windows to potentially access additional settings.
