How to Convert GPS Numbers

GPS, or "Global positioning System," is a series of satellites used to help map the world. GPS numbers refer to a particular location on the planet. You can convert these numbers into the more traditional "longitude/latitude" system using some free websites online that will make the conversion for you using an embedded program on the site. A GPS coordinate will consist of two sets of numbers, one for degrees and one for minutes.
