How to Download Programs for Shortwave Radio

Shortwave radio describes bands between 3000 and 30000 kHz. It describes radio capable of transmitting to anywhere in the world. Download programs to allow you to use short wave radio either to transmit it with a short wave radio device and using your computer to help with calibration, or to listen to it online.

Instructions

1. Navigate to a website that has Shortwave radio software available for download such as DXtreme, Ergo Radio Software, or Dxtra.

2. Click the download link for the program.

3. Click "OK" in your download manager when it appears to begin downloading the installation file for the program. The program file will end up in your "My Downloads" folder as a default. The download manager will say "Download complete" when the installation file is ready. Double-click on it in your My Downloads folder to begin installation.
