  • Screwdriver

      Buy a new pair of earphones from an electronics store in your area. Then, cut your broken earphones off their cord.

      Turn the shell of your new earphones and put them on the cord of your broken pair of earphones.

      Using a wire cutter, take off about four centimeters from the outside layer of your earphone cord.

      Cut about half an inch of insulation from both insulated wires.

    • 5

      Insert the last of the three wires, called the "ground wire" or "uninsulated wire" to your device's plug terminal.

    • 6

      Solder your device's insulated wires to the terminals that remain.
