How to Activate Cable Boxes

How to Activate Cable Boxes thumbnail
Cable boxes can be activated by calling the service provider.

When you purchase cable television service from a cable company, you receive a cable box that is automatically activated when your service is turned on. Usually, the cable company sends out a technician to activate the cable outlet, but it's up to you to set up the cable box and ensure everything is working properly. This can be done by simplying connecting the cable outlet, cable box and television using coax cables.
