How to Make a Lottery Wheel to Pick 3 or 4 Numbers
Lottery wheels can be used to select numbers at random. Generally, people will select the numbers they want to play, then a wheel will be used to choose winning numbers. Lotteries can be used to give out cash prizes or other gifts and can be a fun party game, as well. Create your own lottery wheel using items found in your home.

Lay a paper plate on a flat surface.

Place a ruler in the center of the plate and use a marker to draw a line on the plate up against the ruler.

Use the ruler, marker and a compass to divide each half of the plate into five equal parts, with the center line as a guide. You should have 10 parts when finished.

Use the marker to number each section zero through nine, moving clockwise around the wheel.

Poke a hole through the center of the wheel using a pushpin and push the pin into a wall to attach the wheel. Do not push the pin into the wall too tightly -- doing so will prevent the wheel from spinning.

Place push pins at the zero, four, five and nine positions on the wall around the wheel.

Spin the wheel. Whichever numbers land at each pushpin will be those selected for the lottery.
