How to Change the Dash Lights on Ford Cars

by Contributing WriterUpdated June 12, 2017

The Ford car comes equipped with several dash lights on the instrument panel. These lights serve the dual purposes of illuminating the instrument panel in darkened conditions and lighting up certain indicators whenever there is an issue with your Ford car. To test if any of the lights need to be replaced, switch the ignition one click forward from the "OFF" position, but do not turn the engine on. This will illuminate all the dash lights, allowing you to see which lights need to be replaced.
