How to Create My MSN Space

Social networking websites allow you to share photos and information with people all around the world.

MSN Spaces is a blogging and social networking website that was created by Microsoft in 2004. MSN Spaces allows you to create blogs, photo galleries and a profile and to communicate with friends using other social networking formats. In 2006, MSN Spaces was renamed Windows Live Spaces. It still has the same features and services, however. If you are interested in creating an MSN or Windows Live Space, you can do so in a few easy-to-follow steps.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser, and go to the MSN Spaces/Windows Live Spaces website (see Resources).

2. Click the "Sign up" button, and enter your personal information, including a user name, password and valid email address.

3. Create a title for your space. You can make the title related to your name or a particular topic you want to feature on your space. After you enter your space name, check the box labeled "I accept the Spaces Service Agreement," and your MSN Spaces/Windows Live Spaces sign-up process is complete.
