2. Check the control panel display as you hold the key to confirm that the panel is unlocking. For example, on "Cook & Hold" key models, the word "Lock" should flash on the display and then turn off. On "Oven Light" key models, the word "Unlocking" should appear followed by the time. On "To Lock Hold 3 Sec," "Control Lock," Control Lockout" and "Lockout" key models, the word "Loc" or "Lockout" should turn off.

3. Push any key as desired on the control panel after the display switches to its unlocked status to confirm that the controls are unlocked.
