How to Calculate Money Conversion Online

The ability to calculate money conversion is useful for frequent travelers. Knowing how much money is worth in a particular country helps you decide how much you should carry. Generally, online services are free and user-friendly when assisting you with money exchange rates. You simply need to input the currency you have and the currency into which you want to convert it.

Instructions

1. Access an online currency converter (see Resources). Enter the amount of initial currency to convert. Enter or select the country where the chosen currency originates.

2. Enter or select the target country into whose currency you wish to calculate the money conversion. Once chosen, the currency rate pertaining to your initial amount is displayed.

3. Input a monetary value in the target country section to determine how much money the initial currency equals. Essentially, you are inverting the procedure; this is useful when determining how much money is needed to reach the target amount entered.
