Hershey's Kisses Bells
-
1
Press a pen or pencil into the top of the foam bell and push it the length of the bell and through the bottom. Remove the pen, leaving a hole.
-
2
Paint the foam bell with silver paint. Brushing on acrylic paint will suffice on foam, but spray paint is the easier option and will look more polished. Gray paint will suffice if you do not have silver because most of the bell's surface will be covered with Kisses. Sprinkle glitter on the paint while it is wet to give the bell more sparkle. Let paint dry.

Put a dab of hot glue on the bottom of a Hershey's Kiss and press it onto the side of the foam bell. Repeat until the bell is covered as densely with Kisses as you want. The decoration retains the bell shape best if you do not cover the bottom; it is also much easier to store because it can be set flat. Set aside and wait for glue to dry.

Thread the ribbon through the hole. Use the pen or pencil to push the ribbon through if it gets stuck in the middle of the bell. Tie a knot in the bottom of the ribbon large enough to hold the bell on the ribbon. Use the ribbon's top end to hang the bell.

Tips & Warnings
Punch holes horizontally though the top of the bell, rather than vertically through the whole bell, if you want to thread several bells together. Thread a length of ribbon through the horizontal holes, tying knots in the ribbon on either side of each bell to hold them in place.
Do not use watercolor paint, as it will compromise the structural integrity of the bell and will not hold the color well.
Children should have adult supervision when using the hot glue gun.
