Sub woofers are large speakers used primarly to enhace the quality of a sound system's bass.

To get the most out of your vehicle's custom sound system you will need to include a sub woofer in your speaker lineup. Adding a Kicker CVR 12 to your vehicle's sound system will enhance the overall sound quality as well as increase the amount and clarity of the system's bass. Before installing a sub woofer in your vehicle, you will first need to wire your sub woofer into a sub woofer enclosure.
